Mission
The mission of IMPBA District 12 is to Govern and Promote Safe Radio Control Boat Racing in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia. The District currently consists of 8 Clubs and 1 Site Maintained for Straight Away Speed Record Runs. Heat Racing is run on an Oval Course with up to 8 Boats Racing for 6 to 8 Laps depending on the Course Size. Straight Away Runs are made through Timed Traps in Both Directions, then averaged for a Top Speed.
District 12 Supports Gasoline, Nitro Glow Fuel and Fast Electric Boats. Hull Types are Mono, Hydro, Catamaran, Outrigger, Tunnel, Crackerbox and Scale Unlimited. Browse through our Gallery to see examples of all these Classes.
